A refined Victorian treasure in rich 18ct Gold, this 1893 ring showcases a chic rectangular panel set with a double row of luminous seed Pearls. Four vivid Rubies punctuate the ends, their pink-red sparkle adding a graceful flourish to the design. Fine milgrain edging and a pierced under-gallery complete the ornate architecture, creating a piece that’s delicate yet wonderfully eye-catching across the finger.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring tapers from 6.5mm wide at the front 2.5mm wide at the back.
4 x Rubies measure 1.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.06ct combined.
Pearls measure 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Pearl, Ruby (0.06ct).

HALLMARKS: Crown, 18, Birmingham Anchor, date letter t for 1893.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Pearls are well-matched with attractive lustre and only minor natural surface characteristics visible under close inspection; Rubies are bright and securely set with no chips observed. The Gold settings and shank are crisp with light surface wear and gentle patina commensurate with age. No evidence of restoration or resizing.
