Elegantly composed in 9ct Gold, this refined Victorian mourning brooch takes the classic navette silhouette and frames it in glossy Black Enamel, a luminous halo of well-matched Natural Pearls, and four Diamonds set in charming rosette collets. Fine milgrain beading traces the outline for a beautifully finished, jewel-like edge.
At the centre, a softly shimmering navette of Glass brings a delicate glint that plays perfectly against the inky Enamel and creamy Pearls. The reverse reveals a working locket back for a treasured memento and a hand-inscription reading “DR”, January 3rd 1900. Complete with a period tube hinge and C catch, it’s a poised and sentimental jewel with timeless Victorian grace.

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 40mm long x 18mm wide.
Diamonds measure approx. 1.75mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.08ct combined.
Seed Pearls measure 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 9.0g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Pearls, Enamel, Diamond (0.08ct), Glass.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT: The Pearls are bright and well-matched, the Diamonds lively, and the Glass navette and Enamel surfaces are pristine with only the most minimal surface wear visible under magnification. The Gold settings are crisp and secure, with a straight pin, smooth tube hinge and firm C catch all in good working order.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
