This Georgian Opaline and Diamond pear drop pendant would make a heavenly addition to your antique jewellery collection! Centred by an Opaline exuding ethereal milky hues surrounded by a halo of Diamonds encased in pie crust settings, this Georgian pendant will enchant anyone who lays eyes on her.

Opaline Glass was produced in France during the 1800s and was highly fashionable around the world during this period. One of its main influences was Venetian Lattimo, or 'milk glass', produced in the 1500s which, as the name suggests, has a milky semi-opaque appearance.

Encased in Sterling Silver the cool tones would make a welcomed addition to any necklace stack, and her elegant form will accentuate your décolletage!

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 36.5mm long x 17mm wide, including bale.
Opaline is 17mm long x 8.5mm wide.
Diamonds are approx 1.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 4.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver throughout, Opaline, Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. We are pleased to offer this Georgian Opaline and Diamond pear drop pendant in very good condition! The Opaline and surrounding Diamonds are secure with the Sterling Silver, which has acquired a lovely patina in the grooves. There is some subtle wear on the back of the pendant, however this cannot be seen when worn. With a firmly affixed bale, you can wear this antique Diamond pendant with confidence!
