Condition

VERY GOOD. This Georgian 18ct Gold black Enamel mourning ring is in very good condition! The ring, which is from the 1700's, has remained in incredible condition overall. The Black Enamel detailing is still legible, other than to the back of the band where it's quite hard to make out the letters and the Enamel has worn slightly. The Rock Crystal has also been well preserved, with only very minor scuffs to the facet edges.  The shank is still smooth, thick and strong, so you can enjoy wearing it for years more. A wonderful ring for your collection. Ring reads Andrew Bateman, OB (Obscured) Oct, 1871, AE 60.
