ERA: Georgian, c.1800.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 35mm long, including hooks.
Earring drops are 20.5mm long x 17.5mm wide.
2 Garnets are 5mm long x 4.5mm wide.
2 Rose-Cut Garnets are 3mm long x 2.5mm wide.
Pearls graduate from 2.5mm to 3.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 6.3g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet, Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. These Georgian 18ct Gold Garnet Pearl pansy earrings are in very good condition! With all components securely connected and the Garnets snug within the bezel setting, these earrings can be worn with the utmost confidence. There are a couple of light surface marks to the Garnets, commensurate with age, but nothing untoward. There is some darkening in the grooves on the back of the earrings and two pinholes visible, to allow heat to escape the tubes during the making process. With perfectly formed ear hooks, these Georgian Garnet earrings sit uber comfortably in the ear!
