Over 200 years old, this opulent piece is truly a spectacle, with each of her dazzling gemstones framed by an ornate, luxurious 18ct Gold Cannetille setting, emblazoned with a halo of tiny stars, she is a celestial marvel!

Cannetille jewellery is a quintessential characteristic found in Georgian jewellery, which emerged as a popular jewellery style in Europe around 1820. With a long history behind her, you won't be able to resist being part of this piece's future!

MEASUREMENTS: Bracelet is 8" or 20cm long.
Amethyst stones graduate from 11mm long x 9.5mm wide to 15mm long x 11mm wide, weighing approx. 31.15ct combined.
Weight: 27.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold throughout, Amethyst (31.15ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This Georgian 18ct Gold Amethyst Cannetille star bracelet is in superb condition. The Amethysts are securely set within their Gold settings and are all well colour-matched, despite there being a slight natural variation between the stones and within the stones themselves: a true testament to Mother Nature! Although a few stars are missing on her Cannetille detailing, four on her third gemstone away from the clasp and one on her central gemstone, this is only subtle and hardly affects the overall impact of the piece when worn. Her clasp is in perfect working condition, closing with a satisfying click. All in all, a wonderful historic piece for your jewellery collection!
