Description
Look closely at the veining and softly folded edges of the leaves: the detail is wonderfully lifelike, set against the smooth, glowing curves of the Garnets.
Dating to around 1860, the articulated drops hang beneath matching leaf-shaped tops and move beautifully as you wear them. Rich 18ct Gold frames each cabochon with a fine rope-like border, completing a sumptuous combination of botanical detail and wine-red colour.
They make an especially lovely choice for an evening when you want your jewellery to be noticed. Swept-back hair gives those sculptural leaves and graceful drops their moment.

ERA: Victorian, c.1860.
MEASUREMENTS: Earrings measure 44mm long including hooks.
Garnets measure 15mm long × 11mm wide.
WEIGHT: 10.5g (pair).
MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold.
GEMSTONES: Garnet (approx. 12.48ct combined).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT: These earrings retain wonderfully detailed vine leaves and beautiful movement, with secure, robust 18ct Gold fittings. There is a small fleabite at the top of one Garnet, which is not easily visible when worn. Their rich colour and finely modelled Gold detail remain a delight.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
