MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 33mm long x 36.5mm wide.
Central Amethyst is 12mm long x 10mm wide.
Circular Amethysts are 5mm in diameter.
Smaller Amethysts 3.5mm in diameter.
Pearls are 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 15.5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Amethyst, Pearl, Enamel.

This exquisite Austro-Hungarian Enamel Amethyst Pearl brooch remains a striking example of 19th-century craftsmanship, though she does show signs of age and wear consistent with her antique nature. The foiling on the Amethysts has worn, which slightly affects their depth of glow but does not diminish their overall beauty. Some areas of the Enamel have worn away, a testament to the piece's history and use. One Pearl is missing, though the remaining Pearls still retain their lustrous charm, and this does not affect the overall impact of her - if anything, it adds to her antique charm! The Silver has developed a lovely patina, enhancing her antique appeal and adding to her character. While there is general ageing throughout, the brooch remains a captivating piece of Austro-Hungarian jewellery, full of history!
