MATERIALS: Gold toned metal, Red Vauxhall glass.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD! Circa 1850, this Victorian illar-box red Vauxhall glass flower pendant is in a fabulous antique condition for her age. The glass petals are all original and intact- which is such a pleasure to see when we find so many Vauxhall glass items with broken and missing components. There are no major chips or cracks to be seen, although there are some very small nicks to the surface of three petals. They retain their vibrant red colour and overall, she remains a beautiful and well-preserved piece of Vauxhall Glass jewellery over 170 years old!
