These antique 9ct Gold Opal pear drop earrings are sure to impress. The neon peaches, zingy greens and peacock purples that shimmer across each 4.60ct Opals creates a fun play of colour, that we see looking right at home with any summer-infused attire.

Item Details

ERA: Art Deco (1920-1939).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 42mm long, including hooks.
Opals are 17mm long x 9.5mm wide, approx 9.20ct combined.
Weight: 2.9g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold throughout, Opal (9.20ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD-VERY GOOD. These antique 9ct Gold Opal pear drop earrings are in very good condition. The Opals have a magnificent play of colour from the front, but there is some crazing present to both, with a more noticeable crack to one of the pear drops. They appear sturdy but will need to be handled with care to avoid further damage. Luckily earrings don't get much wear compared to other jewellery items (such as rings). Their cabochon cut is smooth to the touch and full of rainbow spectrum along the front, wheres the backs are less colourful. Each component is securely affixed to one another and with well formed ear hooks, these Vintage Opal earrings can be worn with comfort.
