MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Yellow Gold, with 18ct White Gold settings, Black Opal, Diamonds (0.28ct).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

The gemstones are pristine, free form chips or abrasions, and securely held within their settings. The ring band is smooth with an even, saturated hue throughout.
