This eye-catching antique 12ct Gold Dearest acrostic flower ring is completely divine! Steeped in Victorian romantic symbolism, Acrostic rings hold secret messages hidden within the gemstones, and this one spells out the word "dearest" (D- Diamond, E-Emerald, A- Amethyst (in this case she has been replaced by a glimmering Paste gemstone), R- Ruby, E- Emerald, S- Sapphire, T- Tourmaline), displayed within an adorable flower formation.

This Victorian ring has been crafted from richly saturated 12ct Gold and has a full set of English hallmarks inside the band making her a desirable piece! She also features intricate engravings around the sunshine Gold ring band, adding to her magnificence. The Diamond is approx. 2.6mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.08ct.
The other gemstones are approx. 2.5mm in diameter
The band is 2mm wide at the back.

HALLMARKS: GJ Makers mark, 12, .5, London Leopards Head, Date letter 'k' for the year 1865.

VERY GOOD. This antique 12ct Gold Dearest acrostic flower ring is in superb condition. The gemstones are all set securely and strong. Although there is a small fleabite in her Diamond, this is only visible under the inspection of a loupe. While her Amethyst has been replaced by a Paste gemstone, this does not affect her spectacular appearance; she is as exquisite today as when she was first created 160 years ago! The engravings are crisp and the Gold is bright and buttery with a full set of hallmarks inside the band. All in all, a breathtaking piece of Victorian jewellery ready to be worn and adored for generations to come!
