This luminous Edwardian trilogy ring showcases a classic trio of Old European Cut Diamonds, the centre framed by two perfectly matched companions. The Diamonds are set in cool 18ct White Gold collets that heighten their brilliance, poised above a richly detailed gallery with fluted columns and pretty pierced scrollwork for a refined, architectural finish.

MEASUREMENTS: Central Diamond measures approx. 5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.50ct.
Two flanking Diamonds measure approx. 4.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.36ct each.
Total Diamond weight is approx. 1.22ct.
Ring sits 5mm off the finger when worn.
Band is 2.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 4.1g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Yellow Gold, 18ct White Gold settings, Diamonds (1.22ct).

STAMPS: 18ct.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Diamonds are bright with crisp facet junctions and no eye-visible chips or abrasions. The collets and claws are secure; the shank shows only light surface wear, consistent with age, with no significant thinning. No evidence of resizing or repairs observed, and overall the ring has been very well cared for.
