A quintessential late Victorian boat ring, this five-stone beauty marries rich 18ct Gold with glowing Rubies and crisp Diamonds in a sleek, low-profile setting. The central Ruby takes pride of place, kissed on either side by twinkling Diamonds and completed by two further Rubies at the shoulders for that classic, romantic Victorian rhythm.

Delicate foliate engraving graces the gallery and shoulders, adding texture and old-world charm to the smooth, elongated “boat” head. Hallmarked for Chester 1898, it’s a refined, wearable antique with lovely colour and sparkle: approximately 0.50ct of Rubies and 0.12ct of Diamonds arranged in a timeless five-stone line that sits close to the finger with effortless elegance.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring tapers from 6.5mm wide at the front to 2.5mm wide at the back.
Rubies measure 4mm and 3mm in diameter (one at 4mm, two at 3mm), weighing approx. 0.50ct combined.
Diamonds measure 2.5mm in diameter (two stones), weighing approx. 0.12ct combined.
WEIGHT: 3.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Ruby (0.50ct), Diamond (0.12ct).

HALLMARKS: Crown, 18, Chester Assay, date letter P for the year 1898.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Rubies and Diamonds are bright and well-matched with no chips or replacements observed, showing crisp facets and lively sparkle. The 18ct Gold band and settings display only light surface marks and a gentle antique patina; the engraving remains sharply defined. All stones are secure in their settings with very little overall wear noted.
