Paste gemstone is 1.5mm in diameter.

MATERIALS: Tests as 14ct Gold, Opal (0.39ct), Paste.
STAMPS: 585 on bale.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
